Marc has spent 18 years of his professional career in general management, marketing, sales and business development on international level in companies as Mars, Beckers and Wessanen.
His broad business understanding and a strong customer focus provided a solid base to start up his own company Be Welcome in 2003, together with his wife Tine Soers.

Tine studied obtained a Master in Applied Economics at the University of Antwerp and obtained an MBA in marketing at the University of Birmingham in the UK. She worked for 12 years in the domains of marketing and sales for the companies Pietercil Resta, Masterfoods, Aral, Q8 Petroleum.
Within Be Welcome she developed and teaches different Cultural Training packages as a unique and professional coaching tool for the many foreign employees and managers working in or leading multicultural teams.
